I created these designs for a band called Silvertide. They are in the process of deciding if they want to use them on their shirts. I wanted to keep the design simple so it would be easier to print them on the shirts. Let me know what you think.

Wow I can obviously say from my limited art skills that this is one of the best designs that I've ever seen. Its totally original and very appealing. Who ever drew this is one of the best artists who ever lived! Please continue on with your amazaing art skills so you can impress us again with your so called mad art skills!!
I like your designs. The top one is very strong with the interesting red surrounding a really good band shot. (did you take the photo as well?) The logo is also well done. I think I would like it better without the background lines. To me they don't look as professional and distract a bit.
The logo on the blue image is good, I like the 3d effect on the lettering. For some reason it looks a little soft and I wish it was sharp. To me it looks like neon but you could push this effect with a slight outer glow. Once again I don't think the background lines are quite working. If there were more of them, they varied a bit in scale and you had them run off the edges of the canvas then I think they could work well.
Anyway good job, especially on the lettering and the photo. I will show my students, they have been making logos lately.
Hey thanks so much for the comments! I actually won first place and the band has already printed and sold my shirt to thousands. They chose the red one over the blue and I am so happy to know that they enjoyed my design. I did not take the band photo that was supplied for everyone in the contest. Thanks again!
